The BRIT Awards Score Highest TV Ratings Since 2005

Last night’s BRIT Awards got the evening’s biggest TV share with a peak viewing figure of 7.4m, making it the most watched BRIT Awards since 2005.  More than a million extra people tuned in than last year to watch music’s most prestigious ceremony, which was broadcast live on ITV1 from The O2 Arena. The evening included more live music than ever before with nine performances. Both Ed Sheeran and Adele enjoyed multiple awards with Adele picking up the most coveted trophy of the night – the MasterCard British Album of the Year.
